About Cape Town
Cape Town is an Internationally famous destination, drawing visitors from around the world with its amazing attractions and benefits. It is situated in the heart of the city, between Table Mountain and the Atlantic Ocean. Cape Town consists of a sunny Mediterranean climate, perfect for outdoor activities.
Cape Town Beaches
Spectacular cold water beaches in Cape Town are situated minutes away from the city centre while other warm water beaches, a little further away from the city. Lots of whale spotting, antique shops, fish restaurants horse riding through waves and surfing can be experienced at our most amazing beaches. Here are some of our most popular beaches in Cape Town, Seapoint, Camps Bay, Clifton, Simons Town, Boulders Beach, Llandudno, Muizenberg, Hout Bay.
Cape Point Nature Reserve
Cape Point Nature Reserve is a 25 minute drive from Cape Town. It contains coastal scenery, beaches, diverse plant and animal life, shipwrecks and beautiful mountains. There is a railway that leads up to the Cape Point lighthouses that were built at the end of the point. It also contains hundreds of different species of Fynbos flowers and plants which are found nowhere else in the world.
Green Market Square – African Market
Greenmarket Square is one of the oldest markets in Cape Town. It is a vibrant, colourful shopping experience located just a block away from Eurocentres. Proudly South African goods are made and sold at this market.
Long Street is one of the main, vibrant nightlife attractions in Cape Town. It consists of many coffee shops, clubs, restaurants, clothing boutiques with a variety of music. It is a street that smells of delicious Indian, Spanish, Italian and Cape Malay foods.
Table Mountain is one of the world’s most well-known and beautiful landmarks. It was named after its flat top, and steep sides and looks like a giant table. The cloud cover is sometimes referred to as a “Table Cloth.” The Cableway is a scenic way to get to the top, but one can also paraglide, bungee jump, rock climb or mountain bike.
Although the people of Cape Town have many different cultures, they share friendliness and a genuine interest in foreigners.
