Meet the Team
Althea
My name is Althea and as the Sales Co-ordinator, I am the person that you are likely to meet if you walk into Eurocentres to enquire about English lessons. I am also responsible for liaising with our marketing partners in South America and answering all enquiries that we receive through our website.
Anthea
I’m Anthea, the Receptionist. My voice is the first one you will hear when you call Eurocentres and I will usually be there to say “hello” when you arrive at the school! Before joining Eurocentres, I worked in the hospitality industry in the United States for two years.
Donal
I am the Assistant Academic Co-ordinator at Eurocentres and my name is Donal. I have been teaching English since 1999 and was lucky enough to travel and spend time in Africa and Europe as a result. Besides teaching English, I have a keen interest in in writing and human rights law. What I really love about my job is how much I learn when I teach - about the culture, beliefs and customs of all my students.
Howard
My name is Howard and I am the Centre Manager. My work is both demanding and exciting. I have seen Eurocentres grow into one of the leading English language schools in Cape Town. I enjoy interacting with our students, so feel free to come and chat to me when you visit the school.
Janice
I’m Janice and I work as the school’s Accounting Administrator. If you have a query about your school fees or anything related to accounts, just pop into the office and I will be happy to assist you.
Juan
I am the school’s Academic Manager and my name is Juan. You will meet me when you first arrive to discuss your study programme. If you encounter any problems with your lessons, don’t hesitate to either speak to one of your teachers or to come and speak to me directly. At various times in my life, I have lived in Saudi Arabia, Oman and Spain. While travelling the world is my passion, the Middle East fascinates me and is of special interest.
Maurice
I’m Maurice, the school’s Social Programme Co-ordinator. I am tasked with ensuring that our range of social activities provides something to appeal to every student. If you want to experience Cape Town’s vibrant cultural life, visit the region’s numerous vineyards, go surfing on our wonderful beaches, take the cable car up Table Mountain or just party the night away in the city’s many lively bars and clubs, our programme will appeal to you.
Megan
My name is Megan and I am the Home-stay Co-ordinator here in Cape Town. I arrange the accommodation for our students - rest assured, I'll find you the ideal 'home away from home’! I thoroughly enjoy interacting with people from all walks of life and look forward to meeting each and every one of you during your stay in our fabulous city.
Prijie
My name is Prijie and I am the Marketing Co-ordinator at Eurocentres, although occasionally you may also find me teaching English. I am responsible for liaising with the Eurocentres main sales office in London as well as our marketing partners in Europe and Asia. I have previously lived and worked in the U.K. and more recently in Thailand and China.
Rushana
My name is Rushana, and I’m the Client Liaison Officer for corporate clients. If your employer has sponsored you to come to Eurocentres, I am your point of contact at the school. If you encounter any problems whatsoever during you stay in Cape Town, do come and chat to me.
Trudy
I am Trudy, the Assistant Centre Manager at Eurocentres. My responsibilities include client services, so if you have any difficulties during your stay - with accommodation, personal matters, your visa – come by my office in the Reception area. I am always here to help with anything or answer your questions about Cape Town!
Waseefa
My name is Waseefa and I am the Financial Co-ordinator at the school. Meeting people of diverse origins makes my work so much more interesting and I especially enjoy socializing with our students at the variety of events we organise for them. It’s a great way to promote my love for my city!
