This is my story about my time in Cape Town. My name is Paulo Oliveira and I am from Brazil. When I started to make plans to travel to a different country to study English, South Africa was not on my mind but after spending these amazing weeks here, I believe this was my best choice! First of all, Cape Town reminds me of my city, Rio De Janeiro. Both have beautiful beaches, mountains and above all, very friendly and happy people. I am very comfortable here and I can say that I am home!

Everyday you have something different  to do. You can visit the impressive Table Mountain, go to beautiful beaches or some relaxing pools, eat tasteful food such as Thai, Portuguese or African dishes. I think Cape Town is one of the most cosmopolitan cities in the world. You can meet people from many different countries here. The students must keep in mind, their major objective of the trip is to learn or improve English. Cape Town offers fun, seven days a week  but we need to stay focused on our goal. One does not exclude the other and Cape Town is a perfect place to merge fun and learning. I have studied English before with a private teacher for one year but after I started studying at Eurocentres, I’ve seen how important it is to attend group classes. We share experiences and support each other with certain doubts or issues.
