Eurocentres takes environmental, social and ethical responsibility
Beauvallon Secondary school in Valhalla Park, Cape Town, was established in 1981. Unfortunately, since then it has been plagued by poverty, due to the past political regime of South Africa. It does, however, have a dedicated headmaster and educators that have a passion for teaching.
Eurocentres has taken on this school as part of our Responsible Tourism project. Our English language school has donated chairs for the learners to use in their newly opened internet learning centre.
Eurocentres intends to continue to assist with the upliftment of this school, which is full of potential.
Our Environmental Project
As a part of our environmental project, at Eurocentres we have recycling boxes in every classroom, as well as every office, and we educate our students by displaying environment-friendly tips on a regular basis, as well as upcoming “Green events”.
We take part in Habitat for Humanity building projects, to give our learners an opportunity to give something back to the country where they have spent some time studying.
Through the Eurocentres Volunteer Programme, we give our learners the opportunity to get involved socially and contribute to the development of South Africa.
