-Hello! My name is Souleymane Idriss and I am from Chad. I have been in Cape Town since the beginning of February. Before I came here, I had lots of prejudices about South Africa but I realised I was wrong. People are so friendly and wonderful that I don’t have the words to describe it. They are culturally, so different but extraordinarily linked and look the same! Diverse cultures, all living, working and joking together. They are linked like the colours of the rainbow. Cape Town! Oh my goodness! I have never seen such a cosmopolitan, dynamic and wonderful city. Built around Table Mountain, one of the famous and fabulous mountains in the world, is Cape Town, offering us many tourist places to visit. Long Street, with its animated bars, clubs and shops, the Waterfront mall, wonderful Camps Bay Beach and Lions Head where you can experience a great view of the city.
You can also visit Cape Point to see penguins swimming and baboons on the junction between the Indian and the Atlantic Ocean. Robben Island is worth a visit because Nelson Mandela, the world icon, spent 27 years of his life in this prison. Studying at Eurocentres is one of the best things I have done in my life. It is a good opportunity to learn English and at the same time learn other cultures of the world. Honestly, Eurocentres’ teachers are the best I have ever met. Visit Cape Town and Eurocentres English Language School. Believe me, you won’t regret it. You will be in your element after visiting, as I am now.
